North Burnett Regional Council
Council has made an offer - What Do You Think?
1.
Council has proposed the following wage increase:
3.5% increase effective Year 1 (2026)
3.5% increase effective Year 2 (2027)
3.0% increase effective Year 3 (2028)
In addition, a one-off 5% increase for annualised allowances (approximately $17 per year).
Consider that the state wage case decision in September last year was 3.5% and these offered increases are comparable to other recently struck agreements. The latest quarterly Consumer Price Index for Brisbane being 4.7%.
