Procedures That Should be Added to Medicare's ASC Covered Procedures List

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is currently considering which procedures should be added to the ASC Covered Procedures List (ASC-CPL) for 2025. You should complete one survey for each procedure you would like added.

This survey gathers information on procedures that the ASC community believe are clinically appropriate for ASCs to provide to Medicare beneficiaries. After review and approval by the ASCA Government Affairs Committee, ASCA will be submitting codes through the new ASC CPL Pre-Proposed Rule Recommendation Request process by the March 1, 2024 deadline. In order to meet this CMS deadline, we request that you submit codes to us by Friday, February 2.

We encourage members to submit their own requests there as well, if interested: https://mearis.cms.gov/public/resources?app=asc-cpl

Please contact Kara Newbury at knewbury@ascassociation.org with any questions.
