Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate Application Instructions

The Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate Program improves the effectiveness of nonprofit leaders and their organizations through targeted focus on personal leadership development and industry best practices.
 
The CNM and TCU Office of Extended Education Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate Program serves to develop and strengthen the leadership abilities of nonprofit executives in Fort Worth and surrounding communities.  The goal is to build the capabilities of nonprofit leaders so they are prepared to confidently lead their organizations to the meet the challenges of a rapidly growing community with ever-changing demographics.  The Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate focuses on personal leadership development in an environment that allows you to collaborate and learn with your peers.

The Leadership Certificate program is ideal for candidates who meet the following criteria: participants should have five years of experience in the nonprofit sector, five years of management experience, be an aspiring executive leader who is currently in a senior management position and/or a first-time or new Executive Director/CEO.

Designed by nonprofit leaders for nonprofit leaders, this program focuses on personal leadership development in an environment that lets you collaborate and learn with your peers. This six-week certificate program teaches industry best practices in:

·                     Developing talent & succession planning

·                     Culture and change management

·                     Board leadership and governance

·                     Strategic leadership

Dates and Location:

     6 Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 11/2, 11/9, 11/15
     TCU Dee J. Kelly Alumni and Visitors Center
     2820 Stadium Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76129

Course Fees:

     $900 (Apply by September 18)
     $1,000 (After September 18)

Course fee includes all materials, lunch and parking on TCU Campus.

Application Process

1.    Complete application form by September 18, 2019.

2.    CNM and TCU will select and notify accepted individuals by September 27, 2019.

3.    Upon acceptance into the certificate program, pay tuition fee to CNM (credit card link will be sent with your acceptance notification). Checks may be mailed to CNM at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Suite 1025, Dallas, TX 75206.

All fees must be paid in full prior to the first session.


Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Once accepted, notification of the intent to withdraw from the series must be submitted in writing via email at least 48 hours prior to the first scheduled class session in order to receive a credit or refund. No refunds are permitted after the program begins. Should the program be cancelled by CNM and TCU, full tuition will be transferred or refunded.
