The AAICPC has the goal of having all states using NEICE by May 2018. We will log into NEICE through the web URL and use the system online, and will enter all case and placement data directly into NEICE. (This is a temporary option until a data exchange can be established.) We will do a data export of our child and placement resource information from our child welfare information system to a secure FTP site, and enable NEICE to pull the information and load it into the NEICE CMS. Our case workers will log into NEICE through the web URL and use the system online. We plan to use NEICE as a Clearinghouse, which will allow us to process ICPC cases directly within our child welfare systems and transmit data and documents through NEICE. We plan to use a web service to send the child and placement resource data through the web service to NEICE, and download the updated data from NEICE CMS into our SACWIS/Child Welfare System.
