TECHCORPShack Student Application

The 2018 TECHCORPShack coding event will give high school students the opportunity to learn about computer science in a fun, engaging and inclusive environment. Over the course of the experience, students will learn how to use MIT App Inventor to explore the world of mobile app development and create an app that tackles a real-world need or problem.
 
A total of 175 high school students will participate in three regional hackathons in Columbus, Dayton, and Zanesville.
Families will be responsible for transportation to/from the site. 

Dates: Friday, November 16th and Saturday, November 17th.
Times: Friday, 6:00-9:00PM; Saturday, 9:00AM - 4:00PM
Locations: 
Capital University in Columbus
Sinclair Community College in Dayton
Zane State College in Zanesville
Grade Band: 9th-12th grades
 
This opportunity is open to those who meet both of the following requirements:
(1) Live in the Columbus, Dayton or Zanesville area
(2) Are enrolled in the 9th-12th grade
 
Student Selection Process:  Students interested in being selected to participate will need to complete the full application before the Wednesday, October 10th deadline.  Students will be notified of selection by Wednesday, October 24th.
