2021-2022 Health Protocols Family Survey

As we begin planning for 2021-2022, we want to hear from families on how they feel about virtual instruction and potential health protocols, including mask wearing.

The CDC has recently indicated that those who are vaccinated against COVID-19 can be both indoors and outdoors without masks, safely. Furthermore, the CDC has recently approved the vaccine for those ages 12 and up. While we await guidance from TEA, we want to hear from families about how you feel about these important subjects.

Please fill out the following survey (1 per family) as we look to the next school year's health protocols.
1.Campus(es) Your Family Attends
2.How do you feel about face coverings for students?
3.How do you feel about face coverings for staff?
4.Please indicate how comfortable you are with  face masks being optional for students and staff.
0 (Not at all Comfortable)
5 (No preference)
10 (Extremely Comfortable)
5.If face coverings were optional, would your family continue to wear one daily at school?
6.If face coverings were made optional, would you be in favor of them being required again for a short period if we experience a significant increase in cases?
7.If TEA allows schools the option, how do you feel about  at-home (virtual) instruction?
8.If at-home (virtual) learning is not an option, how likely are you to seek out a different school?
0 We're committed regardless of a virtual learning option.
5 We'd consider another option.
10 We would certainly seek out another option.
9.TCA+A's current guidelines include quarantining students who have had close contact with a positive case for 14 days. If we are able to choose how we handle close contacts, what would your preference be?
10.Last name (please only submit one per family)
11.Do you have other comments or feedback on this issue you'd like to make us aware of?
