This is an expression of interest. Camp places are limited and there is no guarantee that you will be allocated a spot for the camp.
All expressions of interest are considered by our care support team to ascertain if we can meet your needs within our volunteer support ratios.
Applications are allocated based on a first come, first served basis thereafter.
Please give us as much detail as possible when filling out your form. The information you provide is important as it helps us to determine the camper's suitability and the volunteer skill mix required to meet your needs. Information on alternative opportunities will be provided should this camp not meet your needs.
A strong aim of the camp is to increase the independence of each participant. For this reason, parents and siblings do not attend this camp. All personal care and engagement support is provided by experienced nurses, allied health and support workers. If you wish to bring your own carer, please state this in your form.
DSR will hold both autumn and winter camps this year. When filling out this form you have the option of pre-registering your interest in also attending our winter camp that will be held 2-5 July 2021 at Falls Creek.
