Test #1: The TExES Bilingual Education Supplemental (164) test is designed to assess whether a test taker has the requisite knowledge and skills that an entry-level educator in this field in Texas public schools must possess.

Test #2: Bilingual Target language Proficiency Test {BTlPT 190) ensures that newly certified Texas educators have the essential knowledge and skills to teach the TEKS to the state's public school students.
