To improve and prioritize bus service along four key roadways in Central Contra Costa County, the Central Contra Costa Transit Authority, also known as County Connection, has begun conducting a comprehensive study of service along four backbone roadways in the cities of Walnut Creek and Concord. The project team has completed an initial assessment of Clayton Road, Monument Boulevard, Treat Boulevard and Ygnacio Valley Road and is now starting to weigh potential improvements along each of roads.

A key part of this effort is hearing from community members, including current and future transit riders and project neighbors about County Connection and what changes they’d like to see that would have the biggest impact. The following survey will help County Connection better understand community priorities, concerns, and needs for transit, and will ultimately shape the development of the Study and the improvements made along each of these four key streets.
