Traditional project teams
This online research instrument contains 19 multiple choice questions and is estimated to take less than 4 minutes to complete. It seeks to capture your observations on traditional project teams. It assumes that you are currently or recently working in a project environment and that you have an appreciation of project management functions and terms.
All reports and publications of the research will not contain information that can identify any individual or organization. It may be used for a longitudinal study.
A traditional project reflects best practice before around 2002 but continues to deliver successful projects. A more modern and contemporary project management approach emerged from about 2002 with the greater use of EVM, Lean, Agile and Benefits Management becoming more predominant and the greater recognition of 'soft' skills, all complemented by advances in technology.
For each question, there is a series of attributes of a project team. The task is to select which you consider best align with more traditional project practice.
