Sustainability is about living within the resources of the planet without damaging the environment, now or in the future. Given the context of a changing climate, living sustainably is more important than ever.

The City has prepared a draft Sustainability Strategy and is calling for your input. The draft Strategy outlines a path towards a sustainable future for the City, aiming to deliver Aspiration 3 'Plan for Future Generations' as identified in the Strategic Community Plan 2019- 2029.
