4.Nominee details
5.Tell us about the nominee's educational role and context

Briefly describe the nominee's educational role, the learners or educators they work with, the setting and scale of their contribution, and any relevant opportunities, constraints or resources. Include work across different settings where relevant.

Your answer Maximum 250 words or approximately 2 minutes of audio/video.
6.What makes this educator's contribution outstanding?

Describe the strongest example or examples of how the nominee has advanced the quality of osteopathic education during the relevant three-year period.

Explain:

• the educational need, problem or opportunity they addressed;

• what they taught, developed, led or changed and their personal contribution;

• how the work was inclusive, evidence-informed and learner-centred;

• how feedback, scholarship or evaluation informed development and refinement; and

• why the contribution was distinctive in its context, whether through teaching, supervision, mentoring, curriculum, assessment, resources or educational leadership.

Use specific examples and relevant dates. Identify the supporting document or documents in section 9 that substantiate what the nominee did, the quality of the work and the nominee's personal contribution.

Your answer Maximum 600 words or approximately 5 minutes of audio/video.
7.What changed because of their work, and how do you know?

Explain the difference the nominee's work made to learners, educators, programmes, curricula, professional standards or policy.

Include:

• what learners, educators, programmes or organisations developed, changed or applied;

• who benefited and why the difference was significant;

• how you know - for example, assessment or progression information, evaluation findings, observed application, documented change or relevant feedback;

• how the outcomes connect specifically to the nominee's contribution; and

• whether the change has lasted, developed or been adopted elsewhere.

Support the claimed change with relevant findings and identify the document or documents in section 9 where these can be verified. Learner satisfaction alone is not sufficient without information showing what changed, developed or was applied.

Your answer Maximum 600 words or approximately 5 minutes of audio/video.
8.How has their influence extended beyond their immediate learners or setting?

Describe the wider contribution the nominee has made to osteopathic education or the wider profession.

• sharing resources, presentations or publications;

• educational research or scholarship;

• influence on policy or professional standards; or

• national or international advancement of osteopathic education.

Give specific examples, explain the wider value created and identify the supporting document or documents in section 9 that substantiate the contribution and its effect.
