1. 2018 NEA ESP CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
WOEA awards scholarships to attend the NEA ESP Conference held each year in March.
All participants are responsible for making their own conference registration, travel and hotel accommodations.
The 2018 NEA Education Support Professionals (ESP) Conference will be held March 23-25, 2018 at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The 2018 NEA Education Support Professionals (ESP) Conference will be held March 23-25, 2018 at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The NEA ESP conference is the premier professional development opportunity for Education Support Professionals across the nation. The goal of this conference is to enhance the skills and knowledge of ESP members to positively impact student achievement, build community relations, organize members, advocate for educators, build stronger locals, and help our members do their jobs better. The conference offers more than 50 different hands-on workshops over the course of four days.
To apply for a NEA ESP Conference Scholarship, complete the online application below. Scholarship recipients will be notified.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Expenses will be paid by the applicant and reimbursed by WOEA Applicants must complete and submit an expense voucher and report to assist WOEA in knowing the value of the event to the recipient and to WOEA. Applications will not be accepted past deadlines. If there are more applicants than scholarships, a waiting list will be maintained should there be cancellations. If a scholarship recipient does not use an awarded scholarship, that member will be excluded from consideration for future scholarships for a period of three (3) years. WOEA will notify local presidents regarding the scholarships WOEA awards to members of that local.

Deadline: Monday before the November WOEA Board of Directors meeting. November 13, 2017
1st Priority: To WOEA ESP at-Large in second year of term.
2nd Priority: To the Chair of WOEA ESP Committee in first year of term.
3rd Priority: To WOEA Officer who is an ESP.
4th Priority: To ESP who has not previously attended.
