Truck Parking in Residential Areas

The Board of Commissioners has the authority to enact and amend provisions of the Upper Gwynedd Township Code at any time it deems necessary for the health, safety, morals, general welfare, cleanliness, beauty, convenience, and comfort of the Township. Please share your opinion with us about parking restrictions in residential areas on private property.  Currently the Township restricts several types of vehicles from parking on our public roadways (class 3 commercial vehicles over 7,001 lbs. and trailers, semi-trailers, mobile homes, etc.).
1.Do you support restrictions of parking large class 6 vehicles exceeding 19,501 lbs. or larger upon a residential private property such as driveways and lawn areas?
2.Do you feel that large tractor trailer type vehicles parked in private driveways can cause noise, safety, and property value concerns for neighbors?
3.Is it overreaching for a local government to mandate that in a residential, suburban environment such as this, certain vehicles are just too large and obtrusive to be allowed to permanently reside?
4.Do you think there should be any exceptions to restrictions of oversized vehicle parking on private property? For example - if the owner of the home utilizes the vehicle for work?
