Continue learning in the field through a hands-on workshop where participants will explore practical aspects of American ginseng cultivation and forest site assessment. Participants will apply concepts introduced in the previous online session while learning directly from field conditions and peer discussion.
Topics include:
● Identifying suitable forest conditions for ginseng cultivation
● Evaluating soil, shade, and site characteristics
● Basic management considerations
● Planting methods and strategies
● Forest stewardship practices
● Questions and peer discussion
The in-person workshop is limited to approximately 20 participants to support hands-on learning and discussion. We encourage you to review the recording of the online session if you were unable to attend that.
