Virginia Railway Express L’Enfant Track and Station Improvements Outreach

VRE’s L’Enfant Station is located between 6th and 7th streets, SW in the District of Columbia. VRE provides commuter rail service from northern Virginia communities into Washington, D.C. and back, Monday through Friday. The L’Enfant Track and Station Improvements project will enhance rail operations and increase capacity at the station by adding a fourth track between 4th and 12th streets, SW. The additional track coupled with station improvements will allow the station to serve more passengers and accommodate two trains at a time.

Your feedback will help VRE understand the concerns and desires of its riders, people living near the station, workers in the area, and other community members regarding the proposed station expansion. Responses will be considered in the design and construction of the VRE L’Enfant Station and fourth track.
