Informa is currently seeking speakers for the 2019 Pool Spa Patio Conference Program.  A call for presentations has been released to professionals in the pool spa and patio industry including previous speakers for the expo and other Informa Trade Shows. This is your opportunity to share your knowledge and skills and make a difference in the lives of pool professionals.

Following are the details for the upcoming show:

Dates: November 5 - November 7, 2019

Location: Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA

Audience: Pool Spa Patio architect/designers, builders/installers, consultants, contractors/subcontractors, distributors/suppliers, manufacturers, manufacturers’ agents, professional pool mgmt., retailers, services/maintenance

Deadline: April 5, 2019

 What we are looking for:

            ▪ Information that can be immediately utilized in the workplace

            ▪ How-to classes that stimulate and provide attendees with a new skill, technology or process

            ▪ Topics which are innovative, stimulating and cutting-edge for the pool/spa/patio industry

            ▪ Strong proposals that provide a better understanding of processes and techniques

            ▪ Presenters with strong speaking experience and in-depth knowledge of the subject matter

            ▪ Topics related to the pool/spa/patio professionals

What we are NOT looking for:

            ▪ Product pitches or infomercials

            ▪ Topics that require the use of your organization’s product

            ▪ Niche focused topics that would only be relevant to a small audience

Final acceptance will be based on (but not limited to) the course’s ability to meet submission standards, overall program/track specification and industry need.  The Conference Advisory Committee (made up of industry professionals) will review the proposed topics for relevancy and industry feedback.  All approved courses will be submitted for continuing education and will therefore require syllabus handouts for attendees.  Please note that companies that qualify for exhibiting must be exhibitors in the show to be considered for a presentation.

The deadline for returning your submission for consideration is March 14, 2019, but you may continue to submit proposals after this date in the event of a cancellation or change to the schedule. Final selections will be made in the Summer. You will be notified at that time to advise whether or not we were able to include your submission for the 2019 program.
