GENERAL INFORMATION
- Open to all individuals with I/DD supported by a Chapter of The Arc New York
- No entry fee required
- One entry per artist will be permitted
- All artwork must be suitable for displaying in a public environment
- Artwork must be original and owned by the artist
- Entry form must be completed by Friday, August 19, 2022
- A digital image of the entry is requested at the time of submission
- Artwork will be displayed and judged by attendees of The Arc New York Annual Meeting
- All artists are welcome to attend!
ENTRY AND ART SHOW INFORMATION
All artwork will be displayed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at The Arc New York 73rd Annual Meeting to be held at the Crowne Plaza Desmond Hotel, Albany, New York. Artwork must be either brought to the art show by 8:00 a.m. on the 14th, or shipped to The Arc New York State Office to be received no later than one week prior to the event. A digital image of the entry is requested at the time of submission, and may be emailed to Christina Canino at caninoc@thearcny.org if not included with the online entry form.
This year, all entrants will be judged as one category. Artists may submit the medium of their choice: painting, photograph, or sculpture.
Winners of the Art Competition will be selected by those attending the Annual Meeting. A first place of $200, second place of $100, and third place of $50 will be awarded. Awards will be presented during the cocktail party, being held between 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
NOTE: If the artist would like to attend the event in person, or is uncertain at the time of entry, the Chapter Contact will be contacted to confirm and make all necessary arrangements.

Entrant retains ownership and all rights to submitted artwork; however, by entering the contest, entrants grant The Arc New York permission, royalty-free, to publish submitted artwork on the website, newsletter and to reproduce images for promotional purposes only. As conditions of this permission, The Arc New York will credit all artwork with the artist’s name.
