GeoManitoba 2025: Survey on Harassment and Discrimination in the Geoprofessions

Part 1: Identity

At this year’s GeoManitoba conference, the Wednesday Lunch Session will look at increasing inclusivity in the geoprofessions to maintain and build a strong, thriving profession. As a part of this session, the GeoManitoba organizing committee is conducting an anonymous survey to collect feedback from conference delegates on their experiences with discrimination and harassment, as well as success stories on workplace inclusivity. The responses will be collated and shared (in a general way) during the Wednesday Lunch Session. In addition, responses may be used to create case studies highlighting a specific issue related to discrimination or harassment, while maintaining confidentiality. (Any specific names or locations will not be included in the case studies.) Please fill out this 1-minute survey regardless of whether or not you have experienced or observed discrimination or harassment in the workplace.
