Award Categories and Criteria
Project of the Year
Nominations are sought for projects which have resulted in a positive contribution to the Greater Dandenong sporting community in areas such as engaging disaffected youth through sport and inclusive engagement of all groups within our community to increase participation.
Award Criteria
Consideration will be given to projects that have resulted in some or all of the following:
- Increased participation, especially among women, young people, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community, refugees or newly arrived residents.
- Giving young people in the Greater Dandenong community a sporting focus.
- Being inclusive and inspiring a change in behaviours and attitudes towards disadvantaged groups through sport.
- Providing an opportunity to develop role models and created a positive influence on the community.
Organisations may nominate themselves for the Project of the Year award.
