Please fill out the Questions before and after explanation

Ideas come and go. Catch, keep and develop such sparks of imagination to nurture your brain. The neuroscientist Dr. Gregory Berns wrote: “The brain is fundamentally a lazy piece of meat. It does not like to waste energy”, but when you work with it, its shape and wiring changes all the time. Neuroscientists call this neuroplasticity i.e. the brain structure and the brain itself changes when we experience and learn new things. Learning works as physical rewiring of the brain.

ONLY SOME TACTICS TO TRIGGER IDEAS – FIND YOUR OWN WAYS

DO the OPPOSITE of what you usually do. Example: Change from car to subway. Travel a different route than the one you normally take.

READ what you usually do not read! Examples: Fashion magazines, art magazines, fishing magazines, neuroscience books, music sheets, recipes for cocktails with interesting names, browse newspapers in a language you cannot read e.g. in Chinese.

THINK from all sides about new things you hear, taste, smell, feel and see. Use all 5 senses.

BE a SPONGE (= absorb with all 5 senses) and be a LOBSTER (= sensitive to new things)'
