2026 City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Grant Support Survey

Woodhurst Community Association is applying for a neighborhood grant through the City of Fort Wayne to pave the current dirt path connecting the Unitarian Universalist Church’s parking lot (located at 5310 Old Mill Rd) to the St. Mary’s path of the Rivergreenway. This project aims to improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity for all residents in Woodhurst and the surrounding communities. Your feedback will be included in our application to show the city how our community feels about this improvement. Please complete this 3-minute survey by Tuesday, March 10.

Thank you for your support!
1.How often do you use the unpaved pathway?
2.What is your primary reason for using (or wanting to use) this path?
3.On a scale of 1-5, how much do you support paving the path to connect to the city trail system?
4.How much do you agree with this statement: “A paved path would make me feel safer and more comfortable walking/cycling to the city trail system.”?
5.What benefits do you think this project would bring to our neighborhood?
6.Would you be willing to provide a brief letter of support for our application?
Thank you for your time! We will update the neighborhood as soon as the grant approval process has been completed, likely mid-April. The proposed project will have no affect on annual association dues.
