AAPB Request for Book Review Application
About AAPB Online Author Showcase, Application Process and Submission Criteria:
Please complete the following application to request a review of your published book/text for consideration in AAPB’s Online Author Showcase. Approved books will be assigned a "recommended" rating and feature on the AAPB website and special e-News notifications.
ABOUT THE REVIEW PROCESS: Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by volunteers on the AAPB Standards Committee. If accepted for review consideration, a one-time fee of $100 will be assessed. Review and decision timeframe are gauged on a case-by-case basis and will not exceed three months. Negative criticism is part of the publishing business, AAPB will ensure that all review comments are factual, unemotional, and directed toward the book and not the author. Reviewers are given the opportunity to assign a "recommended" rating to outstanding title.
To qualify for review status and acceptance into the AAPB Online Author Showcase, the following criteria must be met:
1) You must be a current AAPB member in good standing
2) The book submitted for review must be published and available for sale
3) If accepted, a review copy must be submitted upon application approval, with $100 review fee.
