Letter of Information

You are invited to participate in a project assessing the needs and interests of those who provide support to an adult 65+. Specifically, this research will help determine if, and how, an online tool could help the support providers. This project is supervised by Pat Spadafora, Director of the Sheridan Elder Research Centre. This research is funded by a grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC).

Any information that is obtained in connection with this study and that can be identified with you will remain confidential. Your personal data will be associated with a code, which will be stored in a file with only your age and gender. This will ensure that anyone outside of the researcher listed above and a trained research assistant will not be able to identify you based on your code. Your contact information will never be shared with other organizations, or used to contact you without your permission.

Your completed questionnaire will be stored in a secure location that will be accessible only to Pat Spadafora, the Director of SERC.
