Southwestern Mental Health believes access to community mental health services is a vital resource. Unfortunately, limited funding and lean insurance reimbursement coupled with ever increasing costs are why community mental health organizations struggle financially. We believe mental health services need to be financially supported like other necessary and critical community services.
In order to ensure mental health services are available and sustainable for future generations, systemic changes to the revenue flow of community mental health agencies are drastically needed.
Southwestern Mental Health and its Board of Directors asks that you take a moment and show your sign of support for the importance of adequately funding mental health services in this region.
