The ‘Supporting in the Field’ workshop is the second blended learning program helping coach developers to support their coaches and officials learning outside the formal workshop or classroom setting in more informal contexts. The 2-day program focuses on how to observe individuals in practice, how to review and help them to reflect on their practice, how to mentor them and how to assess practice 'in the field' for positive professional and program growth.
Coach Developers will be encouraged to develop their skills in all these areas and reflect on how they currently support, mentor and assess coaches and officials to help them continually to develop their applied practice in sport settings.
Individuals completing this workshop will receive a USCCE program certificates of completion.

Pre-requisite: Successful completion of a USCCE or ICCE Teaching & Learning Facilitation Skills workshop or completion of the USCCE Shifting Mindsets program. Participants who have not completed these will be asked to complete the Shifting Mindsets asynchronous program prior to attending (details will be sent upon registration).

Application Process: Accepted applicants will be sent event details and an invoice that must be paid within one week of receipt to secure the spot.
Participants are responsible for their own lodging.
