Since early 2024 Stronsay Development Trust has funded Bayview Transport to provide Community Transport on the island. This has comprised the Community Bus available on demand, and most recently the addition of bus runs to and / or from group activities / school clubs etc.
SDT is now conducting a survey to explore if and how this community transport has served the island and community members.
We want to hear from everyone in the community - your ideas and feedback are vital to shaping a transport solution that best works for Stronsay!
This survey focuses on key aspects of community transport, including what currently works, where improvements could be made, and what changes or new services might be beneficial in the future.
We are hoping to secure further funding to continue Community Transport, so your input is vital in making the case for the continuation of funding.
Please answer as many questions as you feel are relevant to you and your household.

We are not collecting personal identifiable information. All responses will be considered collectively to develop a community transport plan for Stronsay.
