What is the Adaptive Lighting Dimming Project?

The City of Edmonton is conducting a pilot project in which approximately five roads within the Woodcroft community will be dimmed during off-peak hours. Off-peak hours include hours in which there is low pedestrian and vehicular activity. The intention of adaptive lighting is to reduce power consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
