Street Drug Trends survey - for professionals who provide services to drug users

For the last eight years, Druglink magazine has carried out an annual Street Drug Trends survey - an attempt to get a snapshot view of the drug scene in 20 UK towns and cities. We contact frontline agencies, police forces, drug action teams and drug user groups in order to build up a picture of what has been happening in the UK’s drug market in the last 12 months.

DrugScope is now gathering information for the 2012 Street Drug Trends Survey. This year we are opening the survey to include services operating in any UK town or city. We are interested to learn about any changes to your local drug scene – drug prices, the way drugs are sold, how they are used, who is using them etc. Please give as much information as you are able to. Responses will be anonymised, however we would like to be able to contact you in case we want to follow up on what you have told us.

Thank you very much for your help with this research. An analysis will be published in the November/December edition of Druglink.

PLEASE NOTE:

You are about to answer the survey for the following groups:
- people who provide treatment services to those who use drugs (eg adult and young peoples’ treatment services, DATs etc)
- people who represent service user groups
- people who provide generic services to those who use drugs (eg homelessness agencies, healthcare providers etc)
- people who work in academic or research settings

If you work in enforcement, in prisons and/or probation or in any other criminal justice setting, please click here to be taken to the relevant survey for you.
