Limiting Storefront Advertising

The Tri-County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCCADA) has been looking at ways to improve retail stores in the three-county area that we serve: Bamberg, Calhoun, and Orangeburg counties. One of the ways we found to improve store safety, promote health and enhance the beauty of an area is through a policy that limits the amount of storefront advertising to no more than 15% of the outside wall space.
