JISFOP Staff Survey South Lanarkshire

Introduction

Healthcare Improvement Scotland and the Care Inspectorate are working together to develop joint inspections of adult services. We are carrying out a joint inspection of health and social services that support older people and their carers in the South Lanarkshire area. This will consider the way in which better outcomes for older people are being jointly achieved, for example, through speedier assessments, more effective setting up of complex care packages to support people at home, promoting self care and reducing delayed discharges from hospital.

We have designed a staff survey to inform the forthcoming joint inspection of local authority and NHS services for older people. The online survey will be sent to staff at all levels so that opinions can be gathered to assist with the inspection. We will also provide paper copies for those staff who cannot access email and internet. We would be grateful if you could take the time to complete this survey, indicating to what extent you agree or disagree with each of the following questions, based on your experience of your day to day job.

Please respond to the statements as they relate to your experience of working in services for older people. Some questions refer to your joint or multiagency services or to your team rather than to you specifically and the question will indicate whether this is the case.

Every question has a scale of response options for you to consider. Anyone who wishes to add a supplementary comment for a question can do so by highlighting the question number and adding the commentary to box number 64 near the end of the survey.

You may come across questions that are not relevant to your day to day job. Where this is the case, select "Don't know" in the response box.

Please take time to answer your questions carefully. Your responses will be treated confidentially and will not be attributed to you personally in any reported material.

Responses should be received prior to the closing date of 28/08/2015

Thank you for your help.
