Introduction
The City of Staunton is in the process of preparing its Five-Year Consolidated Plan for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and we have engaged the firm of Mullin & Lonergan to assist us in this endeavor. The Consolidated Plan will serve as a blueprint for the expenditures of federal funds in the City of Staunton from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2029.
As part of this five-year planning process, the City of Staunton is required to identify the housing and community development needs for low-moderate income persons and households, as well as persons with special needs such as disabilities, substance abuse, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, the elderly, etc. Your participation in this planning process is important if the City is to develop an accurate strategy that addresses the priority needs of these groups and individuals.
