The inaugural State of the Sector Report was released at the LG Professionals Australia National Congress in May this year. Created in unison with our partner, .id, the report presents the big picture, a data snapshot of where your local government fits in, and offers analysis of the changing face of Australia's demographic and economic shifts such as immigration, workforce trends, and housing as they impact local government.
Next year, we'd like to make this report even better. However to create something truly reflective of the needs of the sector, we definitely need your help. Please tell us what you think of the first edition, and share your thoughts on what additional information, data and analysis will make this a more effective tool for you and your council.
