The DDD is looking forward to hosting a successful Starry Saturday on Saturday, November 22, 2025. This is our kick-off to holiday shopping in Downtown Hammond! The Starry Saturday schedule of events is as follows (subject to change):
8AM-12PM / Hammond Farmers & Artisans Market
11AM-4PM / Sip & Shop 🥂
4-8PM / Hammond Rotary's "Movie Under the Stars" in Cate Square Park feat. family friendly activities, train rides, & Santa 🎅🏼
5-8PM / Planet in the Park in partnership with We Didn't Planet at Railroad Park
We encourage your business to participate in Starry Saturday by hosting sales and specials throughout the day. For our retail merchants, we are hosting a Sip & Shop event from 11am-4pm. The DDD will create a map and provide branded merch to participants who buy tickets for $20 (Ticket sales will begin Wednesday, October 22nd). See this form for more sign-up details.
This application is for any brick-and-mortar businesses within the DDD that plan to host any activities during Starry Saturday.
