Stanley Center Potential Uses Survey 

The former Stanley Congregational Church building has been gifted to Chatham Borough to be used for community purposes. This survey is the first of a number of efforts to get thoughts and feedback from the community on possible uses for the building. 

If you are not familiar with the building, please enjoy this video tour: 

1.What do you think is more important for the building, to offer uses that benefit the community or to cover operating costs / generate revenue?
2.Below are a few ideas that people have proposed for use of the space. Please indicate your level of interest/support in the following uses at the Stanley Building

Meeting space for local groups and clubs (similar to the meeting rooms at the library)
Rental for private events such as weddings, parties, and receptions
Rental of office space  
Rental of spaces for local classes (yoga, dance, music) 
Space for Senior activities that the Senior Center can't accommodate
Supervised after school space for 5th-8th graders with organized activities

5.Do you have any specific concerns about the Borough acquisition and use of the Stanley Center building? If so, please share below.
6.The steering committee is currently exploring different models for operating the Stanley Center building. Please indicate your preference (if any) for these different models. 
7.We are looking for individuals / businesses who could donate their time to improving the Stanley building. Please indicate if you would be willing to assist in any of the following and make sure you provide contact information at the conclusion of the survey. 8.The Steering Committee is planning to reach out to a number of interest groups, including the School District, Library, Senior Center, Township Committee, and others to obtain feedback on the use of this building. Please indicate any other groups you think should be contacted.
