St. Cosmas & St. Demian SAT Preparation Service

Course Details

+ Teaching the NEW SAT Test  For incoming 11th and 12th graders only.
+ Mandatory Parent/Servant Meeting on Wednesday, July 5th at 8pm
+ Classes will begin on Wednesday, July 5th, and run until August 5th 2017.
+ Class times will be as follows:

Monday            : 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Math)
Wednesday     : 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Reading & Writing)

+ There will be a registration $300 fee for the course to cover the cost of books, as well as other supplies.


Class Rules


Dress Policy:
+ No tank tops, tube tops, low cut shirts, shorts or sleeveless shirts.


Behavior Policy:
+ Please remember at all times that this is a church service and you must act accordingly
+ No acting up, calling out, and/or disrespect to the servants and students will be tolerated
+ Any sort of disruption will result in you being removed from the class by the servant
+ The first removal from the class will result in a phone call home to your parents
+ The second removal from the class will result in you being permanently dismissed from the course

Attendance Policy:
+ Attendance to all classes is mandatory
+ After two (2) cumulative unexcused absences (from either Math, Reading, or Writing) you will receive a phone call home
+ After four (4) cumulative unexcused absences, you will be permanently dismissed from the course

Excused absences include the following only:
Vacation (the servants must be informed of this upon registration of the course, or ASAP if you are unsure at this time)
Hospitalization
Individual excuse from that class’s servant (i.e. John giving you permission to skip Critical Reading class one week)

Late Policy:
+ You will be marked late to any class in which you show up at least 15 minutes after it begins
+ 3 Lates = 1 Absence

Homework Policy:
+ Completion of all homework assignments is mandatory
+ After two (2) cumulative incomplete homework assignments (from either Math, Reading, or Writing) you will receive a phone call home
+ After four (4) cumulative imcomplete homework assignments, you will be permanently dismissed from the course
