Please review the following information about the vaccines we are offering at the upcoming clinic: Spring 2026 COVID-19 Booster Eligibility: The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) continues to recommend annual fall COVID-19 vaccination for the general population.
An
additional COVID-19 vaccine booster dose is recommended this spring for the following
higher-risk populations:
- Adults 80 years of age and older
- Adults 65 to 79 years of age may choose to receive an additional dose this spring based on individual risk factors and personal preference
- Adult residents of long-term care homes and other congregate living settings for seniors
- Individuals 6 months of age and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised (due to an underlying condition or treatment)
- Individuals 55 years and older who identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Métis, and their non-Indigenous household members who are 55 years and older
Individuals who do
not meet the eligibility criteria — regardless of whether they received a COVID-19 vaccine in Fall 2025 — are not currently recommended to receive a dose at this time. They will be eligible again in the fall for the annual COVID-19 vaccine program.
The vaccine that will be administered at this clinic is the
Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
