We Are Making a Difference!
Spoken Word Project 2016

High school students with an interest in spoken word (or related skills, like drama, poetry or hip hop) and a passion for social justice are invited to explore global issues and share their talent through a group spoken word piece.

Students will have the opportunity to: learn about issues related to international development from professionals, collaborate with a professional spoken word artist, record with a professional videographer, and perform in front of two live audiences. These performances will kick off International Development Week and bring a youth voice to Canada's 4th Annual Fair Trade Conference.
