The lives of many blood cancer patients are threatened by "specialty tiers" drug pricing – a discriminatory practice that puts essential anti-cancer medications out of reach for far too many.

We need your help to convince four key members of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce's Health Subcommittee to support this crucial legislation to aid people who are in the fight for their lives.

In honor of everyone we've lost to blood cancers and in recognition of the courage that cancer patients and their loved ones show every single day, please add your name to our petition asking these key Representatives to put a stop to dangerous "specialty tiers" pricing today.

Question Title

Dear Representatives Pallone, Waxman, Upton, and Pitts:

I write as a supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to ask that you support HR 460, the Patients' Access to Treatments Act of 2013. This bill would end harmful "specialty tiers" drug pricing structures that allow health insurers to charge so much for certain drugs that cancer patients are forced to skip doses – or go without crucial treatments altogether.

Cancer patients are already in the fight for their lives – they should not also have to battle their insurance companies just to get the treatments their doctors prescribe. Please help them by supporting HR 460 today.

If you take action and have not already registered, you will receive periodic updates and communications from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
