Overview

Background: In 2017, with generous support from the Buell Foundation, the Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health (CoAIMH) piloted and enrolled our new infant mental health foundational curriculum, Colorado Foundations of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health for Early Childhood Professionals and Partners (Colorado Foundations). To meet this end, we trained 23 Master Trainers from varying CO communities to deliver the course locally. Since October 2017, approximately 250 infant and early childhood colleagues from 10 Colorado communities have participated in the course.

In August 2018, CoAIMH was thrilled to receive a second year of funding from the Buell Foundation to revise the Colorado Foundations curriculum based on 2017/early 2018 evaluation data as well as linguistically and culturally interpret the content into Spanish! In Spring 2019, CoAIMH will be training a second cohort of Master Trainers to deliver this community-based curriculum to bilingual-bicultural providers who work with Spanish-speaking, Latino and Hispanic communities across the state!

We cordially invite our Spanish-speaking infant and early childhood mental health colleagues to consider applying for the opportunity to become a CoAIMH Colorado Foundations Master Trainer.

This application is due no later than Monday, December 17, 2018 by 5:00 pm. All applicants will be notified no later than Monday, January 14, 2019
