At the March 4, 2025, Beverly Hills City Council Formal Meeting, staff received direction to initiate a parking occupancy study on the 200 and 300 blocks of Spalding Drive to potentially modify the existing Preferential Parking Permit (PPP) Zone “QQ” parking regulation.

As a first step, a survey of residents on the 200 and 300 blocks of Spalding Drive, between Charleville Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard, will determine if there is sufficient resident support to modify the existing “2-Hour Parking, 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday, Permit ‘QQ’ Exempt” parking regulation to “1-Hour Parking, 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday, and No Parking Any Other Time, Permit QQ Exempt.”

A minimum of 60% support from block residents (one vote per household) is required to initiate a City review process.

· 200 South Spalding Drive: 125 minimum signatures of 300 dwelling units

· 300 South Spalding Drive: 65 minimum signatures of 109 dwelling units

Please note that there will be no change to the street sweeping schedule or overnight parking regulation. No changes in parking regulations will be made until reviewed by the Traffic and Parking Commission (TPC) and City Council at a future date. Public notices advising of the TPC and City Council reviews will be mailed to all residences in the affected project area prior to the meeting dates. For questions, please call (310) 285-1000 or email transportation@beverlyhills.org.

Owners or occupants are encouraged to complete the survey (one per household).

For questions, contact the City at (310) 285-1000 or AskBH@beverlyhills.org.
