* 8. Terms and Conditions for Registration and Participation in the EducationUSA South Asia Spring Tour 2016
●      The registration ($1000) deadline is July 31, 2016. Registration after that date will be considered but not guaranteed and the registration fee will be $1500.

●      Please note registration fee includes expenses for two representative for organized travel and events. Additional representatives may be charged extra.

●      Registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been processed.

●      For institutions that require completion of the IRS form W-8, we are not able to sign any version of this form.  We can, however, bill you in installments so that each payment is $500, (i.e., below that amount which requires signature to a W-8 or other variations of that form)

●      Payments will be managed by the United States Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission. A representative from there will contact institutional representatives with payment instructions once registration is received.


The EducationUSA Advising Centers will:
• Advertise and promote the events to students, parents, school/university teachers and counselors.
• Provide counter space no less than 90cm x 60cm, a chair, bottled water and sign for each participating institution. If additional space is required, arrangements should be made with the EducationUSA staff in advance.
• Include institution profile in the event brochure distributed to all attendees. All profiles and print-quality school logos must be received no later than September 1, 2015 to guarantee inclusion.
• Prepare and send after the fair a list of visitors.
• Arrange (but not pay for) airport transfers for representatives who fly on the recommended flights between fair cities and stay at the recommended hotel in each fair city.
• NOT be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
• NOT be responsible for any mailed packages that may be stopped at customs, and will not perform any customs clearance activities.

Participating Institutions agree to the following:
• Participating institutions must hold U.S. Regional or National Accreditation. Verification may be requested. We reserve the right to refuse registration of any institution.
• Participation by agents or alumni is not permitted.
• Participants are responsible for their visas (if applicable), airline tickets, hotel reservations, and ground transfers, except where noted in the “Guide for U.S. Representatives: South Asia Fall Tour 2016”.
• Participants are responsible for shipping materials with sufficient time for delivery. Please be aware of local customs issues. All printed materials and fair items should be sent to the addresses provided.
• Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations received on or before September 1, 2016 will be given a 50% reimbursement. All cancellations after September 1, 2016 will not be reimbursed. Cancellations can only be made by sending an email to: REAC.Lahore@educationusa.info   
• No-show policy: No reimbursement. If materials have been received, they will be displayed without a representative at the table.
