Introduction

The mission for the Soulard Community Improvement District (CID) is to further elevate Soulard as a thriving community for people to live, work, and play. Established in 2019, the CID funds projects to improve quality of life and foster a friendly business environment and visitor experience.

The CID is funded by a 1% sales tax on retail in the district. The CID Board of Directors, appointed by the Mayor, is empowered to utilize those funds for a wide range of proactive short-term and long-term projects within CID boundaries.

The purpose of this survey is to get community feedback for the CID Board about how CID funds should be prioritized and spent. Potential uses include street lighting, infrastructure improvement, trash clean-up, traffic management, strategic planning and marketing.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Everyone is welcome to take the survey (it is not limited to residents or businesses in the CID). If you have any questions, please contact communications@soulardcid.org
