Santa Barbara County Solar Panel Reuse Training

The California Product Stewardship Council (CPSC), in conjunction with the Santa Barbara Regional Recycling Market Development Zone, is hosting a training for solar panel reuse and repair. The training will take place November 14. All attendees who participate in the training will receive a Certificate of Completion.

This training program is open to everyone, particularly solar panel installers and owners who are looking to expand their knowledge on extending the life of solar panels.

The curriculum will include topics of maintenance, de-installation, testing for capacity, and finding the best market and end-use for panels based on their current condition.
Students in attendance will have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and gain hands-on experience in a world that intersects career paths and interests in energy, engineering, sustainability, and design.
