The ski hill was Andrew’s second home. He loved being outdoors, racing, spending time with friends, and helping others discover the sport. His passion was especially clear in his work as a snow school instructor. Andrew died in a car accident in 2022, just 20 days before his 20th birthday. The Andrew Jesso Foundation was created in his memory to carry forward his love of skiing and teaching.
With support from our donors and community partners, the Foundation provides financial support for children ages 4 to 14 to enroll in ski or snowboard lessons at one of our three partner resorts - Marble Mountain, Smokey Mountain, or White Hills. For successful applicants, snow school bursaries will include lessons, equipment rental, and lift passes if required.

TO APPLY
1. Parent or guardian application: Complete the online application form—it takes less than three minutes!
2. Online reference: Ask someone who has known the child for at least two years and works with youth in a professional setting to complete the online reference form. The link for the reference form will be provided at the bottom of your parent / guardian form.
Both forms matter! The parent or guardian application and the reference form must both be received by November 13 for the application to be complete and considered for a bursary. Submit them early so your child does not miss this exciting opportunity!
Applying for siblings? We would love to hear about each child! A separate application and a separate reference form must be completed for every child. Each child is assessed separately, giving each application the individual attention it deserves.
Important: Submit both forms by November 13, 2026. Please note that as we expect a high number of applications we may not be able to fund all requests.
