The Town of Castor is looking for feedback from the public and businesses on what you would like to see in our "Smoking Bylaw". Please take a moment to fill out this short survey by January 31, 2019. Your participation is appreciated.

* 1. Would you like to see the radius of Smoke Free zones increased from 3 metres to 5 metres?

* 2. Bylaw enforcement is often difficult and time consuming so the Town may need to look at hiring a Bylaw Enforcement Officer. To what extent would you want to see the Bylaw enforced? Keep in mind that full enforcement would include legal and court costs.

* 3. Should the use of Cannabis be regarded the same as cigarette smoking OR the same as alcohol consumption?

* 4. Given that a "Public Place" is defined as: all or any part of a building, structure or other enclosed area to which members of the public have access as of right or by express or implied invitation. 

Would you be in favour or oppose a Town Bylaw that would ban smoking (of any kind) in all public places including outdoor public spaces (such as parks, pool, ball diamonds, playgrounds)?
