Grosse Pointe Park Resident Survey

Grosse Pointe Park has been selected by NextEnergy, a Detroit-based non-profit technology accelerator, as the location to test and pilot a technology solution from AutoGuardian by SmartCone, the winner of our NextChallenge: Smart Cities Demonstration Grant Award. The grant enables the city to use this solution for at least one year at no financial cost to the city government, residents or visitors.

The goal of the solution (to be installed at two intersections in the Park this November) is to bring awareness to crossing pedestrians and reduce the speed of traffic while the crosswalk is active. The technology includes a data gathering and measurement component, but to understand its full effectiveness we would also like to hear directly from residents, both before installation and after the solution has been activated. If you wish to participate, please take a moment to complete this brief survey.

We appreciate your input and assistance in helping us to accelerate the commercialization of this new smart mobility technology.

All respondents will remain anonymous, and no personally identifiable information will be collected from this survey. Any data gathered will be used for the purposes of this project only, which may include analysis, reports or case studies. Review Survey Monkey's privacy policy here.
