Small Business of the Month 

Help us recognize an outstanding small business!

The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center and Small Business Council invites you to nominate a Chamber Shareholder for its Small Business of the Month recognition.  

*Business must be a for-profit entity.
 *A business may self-nominate.
 
Award Criteria / Eligibility:
·        Business has had steady and positive economic growth
·        Provides outstanding customer service
·        Develops and maintains professional relationships with clients and vendors
·        Management demonstrates a high level of community involvement through participation in civic, community and Chamber programs and initiatives
·        Business must be a shareholder, in good standing, of the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center at the time of the nomination
·        Business must have been in operation for at least 1 year

Nomination & Recognition Process:
·        Nominations must be received by the 30th of each month
·        A task force of the Chamber's Small Business Council will review the nominees for eligibility and determine the award recipient each month
·        The award recipient will be notified by the Small Business Council and invited to be recognized at a board of directors’ meeting and the Chamber’s Business Over Breakfast program

5.Describe the business' engagement in the Lexington community.(Required.)
6.Share a positive experience / interaction that you've had with this company.(Required.)
7.What other reasons do you believe this business should be recognized as the Small Business of the Month?
