Information about the Coalition's Early Childhood Workforce Proposals

The NC Child Care Coalition is committed to continuing its work to advance the education and compensation of early education teachers as a priority strategy to ensure that high quality early education is available to North Carolina’s young children and working families.  We have developed two specific proposals for the 2017 legislative session--one on education and the other on compensation.

We invite you to be part of the Action Team to help the Coalition advance the Coalition's early education workforce proposals. All responses will be confidential.

Contact information is required to participate to be part of the Action Team, but you do not have to be a Coalition member to participate. Sign up to be part of the Advocacy Teams on the final page of the survey.

Please know that these proposals are just in the draft stage now and are subject to change as we receive feedback and consult with state leaders and policymakers.  All final decisions regarding these proposals will be made by the NC Child Care Coalition. Coalition members and those who sign up to be part of the Advocacy Teams will be informed on a regular basis.

If you need any further information, please contact Michele Rivest via email at NCChildCareCoalition@gmail.com.

Thank you!
