Our list of mentors possesses a broad set of expertise, and they hope to help you in any way possible. Please understand that the mentors are doing this on a volunteer basis. How it works:
- All information discussed in every part of the mentorship journey must be kept confidential.
- A 'befriender' format underpins the SB mentorship program. This means that the program is informal.
- It is up to you and your allocated mentor to work out the relationship structure and duration that best suits you both. However, we suggest that both parties aim to fulfil a minimum of 2 x 10-minute conversations (through any medium that best serves both parties).
- All mentors will be involved in the matching process facilitated by the SHE BRILLIANCE leadership team. We are only in a position to reveal both parties' personal details after they have accepted the match.
- Once we understand your area of expertise and your availability boundaries, we will present the most suited mentee candidates for your selection.
- We will only connect you and your mentor after a short letter of understanding is signed by both parties.
- We do not require both parties to document your journey. The "befriender" format is like a casual friendship.
- There is no obligation should any one of you are no longer in a position to complete the journey.
- The SHE BRILLIANCE team may connect with you occasionally to see if your journey needs further support.
